Amplitec O37T series digital multi-carrier public safety and emergency communication fiber optic repeater is a communication device that uses software radio technology to transmit radio frequency over optical cable. It is used to extend the coverage of public safety and emergency communication systems such as TETRA, DMR, PMR, P25, etc.
The O37T digital multi-carrier public safety and emergency communication optical fiber repeater consists of two parts: the main unit (MU) and the remote unit (RU).
The main unit (MU) adopts high-efficiency aluminum alloy die-casting chassis structure, reaching IP65 protection level, and can be mounted on indoor walls or outdoor poles. The main unit (MU) is equipped with four 1.25GB/S optical interfaces, one USB local monitoring interface, one RJ45 remote monitoring interface and one N-Female RF interface.
The remote unit (RU )also adopts high-efficiency aluminum alloy die-casting chassis structure, reaching IP65 protection level, and can be mounted on indoor walls or outdoor poles. The remote unit is equipped with two 1.25GB/S optical interfaces, one USB local monitoring interface and one N-Female RF interface.
The main unit (MU) and the remote unit RU are connected by an optical cable. The main unit (MU) receives the Down Link RF signal from the TETRA, DMR, PMR, P25 and other communication base stations through Donor antenna coupling, and then converts it into a digital CPRI optical signal and transmits it through optical fiber to the remote unit (RU.) The remote unit (RU )converts the digital CPRI optical signal transmitted from the MU into an RF signal, amplifies and transmits it to the coverage area through the antenna. Conversely, the remote unit (RU )receives the Up Link RF signal from the communication terminal through the antenna, and then converts it into a digital CPRI optical signal and transmits it through optical fiber to the main unit(MU). The main unit (MU) converts the received digital CPRI optical signal back into an RF signal, amplifies it, and transmits it back to the base station through Donor Antenna.
The networking diagram of the main unit (MU) and the remote unit (RU) are very flexible,supporting star networking, chain networking, and star-chain hybrid networking. The main unit (MU) can connect four remote units (RU) in a star configuration, and the remote unit (RU) can connect multiple remote units(RU) in a chain configuration, adapting to various scenarios.
The O37T Mxxx series fiber optic repeater has multiple models suitable for public safety and emergency communication systems in various frequency bands. In addition, other frequencies can be customized according to customer needs.
