-The radio management departments of most countries in the world usually allocate a frequency band of the spectrum resources to multiple operators, and a single operator can only use a part of the spectrum resources within this frequency band. For example, the full bandwidth spectrum resource is 75M of Band3 which defined by 3GPP. China’s radio management department allocates Band3's spectrum resources to three Chinese operators. China Mobile obtains frequency resources of 25M bandwidth (1710~1735MHz/1805~1830MHz), and China Unicom obtains 30M bandwidth (1735~1765MHz/1830~1860MHz) spectrum resources, China Telecom obtains 20M bandwidth (1765~1785MHz/1860~1880MHz) spectrum resources.
-When the operator is covering the signal, it cannot occupy the frequency resources of other operators, and the radio frequency signals emitted by the installed base station or repeater equipment cannot cause interference to the networks of other operators. Therefore, When operators or communication system engineers use repeater device to cover the signal, they need to purchase band selective repeaters with customized frequencies from the device manufacturer. based on various reasons, the radio management department will re-adjust the frequency resources allocated to each operator, causing the installed repeater device to be unable to continue to be used; in addition, a communication system engineering company usually serves multiple operators at the same time. If a band selective repeater is customized for each operator, it will cause great inconvenience.
-The Bandwidth Adjustable Repeater has the function of flexibly setting the frequency and bandwidth within a frequency band range defined by 3GPP after leaving the factory, which can solve the above problems well. The communication system engineering company can adjust repeater frequency synchronously after the operator adjusts the frequency of the BTS ,and the same repeater can also be flexibly set to the frequency used by any operator.
